Khulan achieved a law degree (LLB) from the School of Law, the National University of Mongolia, majoring in International Law in 2014. She has been working at our firm as of 2013.

She has been working as a qualified lawyer at the consulting team specializing in contract law, business transactions, legal due diligence, general corporate law, and the security market since 2013.  

She worked as a secondee at the Energy Resources LLC, one of the leading mining companies in Mongolia, for over a year. She is a member of the Mongolian Bar Association and certified lawyer from the Financial Regulatory Commission of Mongolia and is qualified to advise securities market associates.

Notable works and contributions of Khulan include

• Acted as a member of the in-house counsel team to provide legal advice and services for the issuance of bonds at the international capital market for the Mongolian Mining Corporation listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Energy Resources LLC, an affiliated legal entity of Mongolia (2019);
• Acted as a member of the local council to provide legal advice for the successful issuance of Bond for Energy Resources LLC on the Singapore Stock Exchange (2017);
• Assisted the merger of Energy Resources LLC and its subsidiary companies in 2016;
• Provided a legal opinion for exploration and mining licenses for LLC and its subsidiary operating in Mongolia (2016);
• Advised on daily activities of the UB Songdo Hospital performing legal services on the hospital’s construction, equipment insurance contract, medical care, medical supplies, equipment, and on the hospital’s trademark matter, as well as customs and tax matter (2015 – 2016);
• Acted as a team member of the local council for legal due diligence on legal entities with mining licenses and license for energy building construction related to the Tevshiin Gobi power plant project (2015);
• Assisted the incorporation of the foreign-invested company and the incorporation of the representative office of a foreign company in Mongolia (2014);
• Assisted the Habitat representative office for Humanity International, the US, and the Mongol Habitat NGO with its four local branches in liquidation (2014).
