On April 17, 2025, during the Plenary Session of the 2025 Spring Regular Session of Parliament, the Government's draft "Law on Amendments to the Law on Mining Products Exchange" was considered for discussion.

      In the introduction to the draft law, the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources discussed the challenges affecting production and investment, including difficulties in trading on the mining exchange, legal and regulatory issues, market price fluctuations, and a lack of buyers. Therefore, the draft law:

•  Generate opportunities to provide products to local processing facilities;
• The Government proposes, and Parliament decides on product exchange agreements;
• Changes include making exchange trading prices flexible and in line with international trade conditions;
• Including regulations for submitting sales data of radioactive minerals to the International Atomic Energy Agency.
