The Minister of Electronic Development, Innovation and Communications, the Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs, and the Minister of Family, Labor and Social Protection have jointly approved the "Regulations on the Prevention and Protection of Children from Prohibited and Harmful Content in the Online Environment" in accordance with Order No. A/53, A/95, and A/76 dated March 28, 2025. This regulation aims to ensure the safety of children in the online environment and includes specific measures. These measures include:

Content distribution requirements include:

• Ensuring there is no negative impact on the dignity and interests of children;
• Avoiding distribution of images and audio recordings of children without permission;
• Ensuring content does not promote the use of illegal drugs and tobacco;
• Posting age classification markings.

 Parents and guardians:

• Enable parental control settings;
• Use 18+ filters for Internet use;
• Monitor smart device usage;
• Improve online environment knowledge.

Educational institutions:

• Train on preventing online risks;
• Include filtering in Internet agreements;
• Enhance staff knowledge on online safety.

Internet and mobile service providers:

• Provide 18+ filter instructions for users with children;
• Restrict prohibited content technologically;
• Remove or restrict content when necessary.
